C & J Update 5/29

5/29/09

Dear Friends and Family,

17 Days to go! We are excited to see what the next 17 days bring and how God is going to continue to prepare us for this part of our life journey. We went to the airport this afternoon to greet the Burns’, missionaries from Valley 4th to China. They are home for awhile as they await the birth of twins. Please pray for them, that Kristie will feel well, the babies (boys!) will be healthy and strong and they will enjoy their time in the U.S. We will miss being able to see them in China, but look forward to their return.

PRAISES:
Visa’s arrived! Now we know why God held up the application process, the year we requested began when we applied! Visa’s are good through May 8, 2010!
International Medical Insurance is approved!
Support is coming in!
For our friends and family, your encouragement means so much to us!
God’s timing is the right timing! We have “B” plans (backup plans) and God continues to use HIS “A plan”!
Our dogs have a wonderful home!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
To finish our jobs well, May 29th. (Guess this goes into the praise section! It was strange to just quit our jobs!)
Trusting God to provide our support needs.
Learning Mandarin, PHF has decided we need to learn the language and will provide a teacher.
Love planted strongly in our hearts for the kids, love and trust in their hearts for us.
Open hearts to know Jesus.
Unity of heart and mind for us.
Bambock’s house to sell. (our renters)
Continuing to place all our trust in Him!
We are speaking at Plummer Community Church May 31st. Pray God will give us the words He wants us to use.
Pray for the Baker’s,(directors at PHF) for Shepherd’s Field Children’s Village, for the staff, and the children. That HE will meet all their needs.

We will be moved out of the house this Sunday the 31st. The Bambock’s will move in the following week. We will be living with Clay’s Mom, across the road, until we leave on the 15th. Our home phone will be disconnected May 31st. Our cell phone will be active until we are out of the country: 509-988-0128. (have to use 509)
