We arrived without incident on Thursday. (after our flrst flight was cancelled due to volcanic activity in Russia!) Took awhile to get off the plane as they take everyone's temperature before letting anyone off the plane! Guess we all checked out ok! We arrived at our new home at 8:30pm. Warmly welcomed by Matthew Winn the new administrator at Shepherd's Field and Driver Jung (spelled wrong I'm sure:) When we got here Stacey and Shelby Jo (Office staff) were here with hugs and "welcome home's"! Stacey came running to us when she saw us, she had been watching for 2 days, they forgot to tell her the flight had been cancelled the day before!
Shepherd's Field has changed alot since we were here last year; the store is in 2 rooms now and people get to shop for most anything the tourist might want right here and the team kitchen is in the community center (where the teams have breakfast and lunch). It is fun seeing the way things have changed.
We are off to Walmart!! We'll be thinking of you as we stumble around looking for whatever it is we need!

Michael is doing well and has one more treatment to go. He is at an AG teachers conference this week. He had to take his drugs with him so he could get his shot everyday. He was going to find someone to give them because he didn't want to do them himself. You know Michael and needles:) He told me he wasn't going to give them himself because he watched Ryan and Drew do it and almost passed out!:)Well, will wonders never cease~~He sent me a text that he did it and didn't pass out. He said "Yeah Me".
I'm going on a quilt retreat this next week. Leaving on Sunday and getting back the following Sunday. We are going to Sister's Oregon. I will be working on a quilt for Michael. I have been making table runners for about a year and now Juli says I need to put on my big girl panties and go for bigger. We will see how it turns out.
